Job Summary
AVP of Operations responsible for the overall management of underwriting-support operations, including leadership of a team, development and monitoring of processes, and collaboration with underwriting and brokerage. Key duties include supervising staff, establishing departmental goals, managing budgets and vendor relationships, overseeing submission workflows and policy issuance, ensuring compliance and minimizing E&O exposure, implementing new products, utilizing MGA Systems, and promoting operational efficiency and customer service.
Required Qualifications
- 7 – 9 years of previous underwriting operations or general underwriter/agent experience in a commercial insurance setting preferred
- 2 – 4 years of previous supervisory experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or other related discipline preferred
