AVP of Fund Administration

Job Summary
Senior Fund Administrator to oversee day-to-day administration of a wide range of ETFs, guide a team of staff administrators, coordinate with third-party service providers (administrators, fund accountants, custodians, auditors, and legal counsel), review financial statements and regulatory filings (Forms N-PORT, N-CEN, 24f-2, N-PX and N-CSR), prepare/review fund expenses and accruals (including fee waivers), assist with new fund launches and operational setup, collaborate with internal teams across compliance, legal, capital markets, and client services, contribute to continuous process improvements, and assist with regulatory exams and internal audits. Requires 5-7 years of related experience, a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance (MBA desirable), strong Excel skills, ability to work under tight deadlines, and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. Preferred: ETF operations experience and SEC regulatory knowledge for funds.
Required Qualifications
- Five to seven years of related work experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. MBA is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to shift priorities quickly and effectively.
- Proficiency in Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a high-volume environment is very important
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in fund administration, ETF operations, or financial services is expected in this role.
- Specific experience and knowledge with SEC regulatory requirements for funds is required.
