AVP of Credit Services (Collections & Recovery)

Job Summary
Oversees the Credit Services Department to preserve assets by managing delinquent accounts, loan repayments, and collateral recovery. Responsible for hiring, training, coaching staff; analyzing delinquency trends; ensuring department goals for delinquencies and losses are met; reviewing and approving collection recommendations; allocating resources to meet operational needs; and developing methods to inform management of trends affecting loan performance while ensuring compliance with legal requirements and credit union policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree
- Five years to eight years of similar or related experience

- Bachelor's degree or formal certifications recognized as equivalent
- Five to eight years of related experience in credit/collections or a similar function
- Strong leadership and people-management skills
- Regulatory and compliance awareness (BSA/AML/OFAC)
