Job Summary
AVP, Learning & Development Executive Leader responsible for shaping talent strategies across the organization, leading complex learning programs, partnering with senior executives to align with business objectives, overseeing a team of ~20-25, and driving centralized/decentralized model improvements with AI and automation. Requires extensive HR/LD leadership experience, ability to influence stakeholders at the C-suite level, and proficiency in modern learning methodologies and technologies. Role is based in one of the following US locations (San Antonio, Plano, or Charlotte) with in-office requirements and potential remote/hybrid flexibility for military spouses; relocation assistance is available. License to work in the US is not sponsorship-supported for immigration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience (10+ years in HR/LD, with 6+ years people leadership)
- 10+ years of progressive HR/learning & development experience
- experience influencing senior executives including C-suite
- expertise in learning and development, adult learning, instructional design, learner experience
- familiarity with learning technologies, Agile methodologies, and talent platforms
- ability to manage vendors and drive innovation in learning programs
- experience leading large, distributed teams and transforming operating models
