Job Summary
Lead and deliver Wealth Management technology initiatives as an AVP, IT Project Manager. Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams to ensure scalable, secure, and high-quality solutions aligned with regulatory and business requirements. Manage end-to-end project delivery across SDLC, including planning, budgeting, risk management, and governance. Drive stakeholder alignment, facilitate workshops, oversee wealth product delivery (equities, bonds, unit trusts, FX, structured products), review technical designs (Java-based applications, microservices, APIs), and coordinate with infrastructure, middleware, and network teams. Ensure regulatory compliance, UAT readiness, and vendor management, while applying knowledge of wealth processes and front-to-back office flows. Seek to deliver value through strong communication, cross-functional collaboration, and adherence to architecture, security, and performance standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related disciplines
- 3–5+ years of IT experience with at least 2 years in project management
- Proven experience delivering banking or Wealth Management systems
- Experience working in large-scale IT transformation or digital initiatives
- Strong knowledge of Wealth Management products and processes
- Solid understanding of software development concepts: Java-based application development
- Microservices architecture
- API / integration frameworks
- Ability to engage with developers and review solution design (not just functional PM)
- Basic understanding of Infrastructure (servers, cloud, environments), Middleware, and Network concepts
- Experience coordinating UAT and delivering governance
