Job Summary
Collaborate with deal teams to assess valuation and operational considerations, coordinating financial due diligence throughout acquisition and divestment processes. Provide financial and operational input on holding structures and funding mechanisms, while preparing market valuations for private investments and reviewing financial controls for asset operations. Manage multiple work streams with internal stakeholders and external advisors, overseeing the organization and maintenance of the investment holding platform including corporate secretarial and financial reporting. Liaise with banks on funding guidelines and external auditors to ensure compliance. This Assistant Vice President role supports the Americas private market investment teams, focusing on finance, accounting, and reporting aspects of deal cycles.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accountancy or equivalent
- CPA qualification
- 6–8 years of relevant working experience
- experience at a Big 4 firm supporting direct private markets transactions
- experience at an asset manager
- Prior exposure to real estate transactions
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- practical working experience with accounting software systems
