Job Summary

AVP of GTM & Commercial Strategy leads the go-to-market and strategic commercial agenda for Inovalon’s Real World Data portfolio, owning end-to-end commercialization from product to market adoption. The role requires defining market segments (with emphasis on life sciences), building repeatable GTM models, evaluating inorganic growth opportunities (build/buy/partner), setting pricing and monetization strategies, and driving post-launch performance. The incumbent partners with Sales, Product, Marketing, Finance, Legal, and Customer Success, and serves as an external thought leader by engaging with industry analysts and conferences. The position demands deep domain expertise in RWD, strong executive presence, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to translate market intelligence into differentiated commercial strategies. The job includes responsibilities for enabling sales, aligning product roadmaps with commercial goals, monitoring KPIs, and ensuring profitability and revenue growth across the RWD portfolio. Travel up to 35% and compliance with HIPAA policies are noted expectations. Education requirements include a BA/BS with MBA preferred; 15+ years of healthcare data/analytics or enterprise SaaS experience focused on commercial strategy are required.
