Job Summary
Execute and develop communications programs promoting Nuveen's public markets and wealth platforms, with strategic emphasis on Brooklyn Investment Group's direct indexing and alternatives for wealth offerings. Monitor external media relations to build rapport with business, financial, and trade media, proactively identifying opportunities to elevate firm narratives through earned media. Foster working relationships with media outlets covering wealth management while partnering with internal teams on reputational and risk issues. Review external communications for accuracy and consistency, working alongside third-party agencies to oversee media monitoring, digital efforts, and daily reporting metrics.
Required Qualifications
- Detail-oriented team player
- PR agency or financial services communications experience
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Keen interest in financial markets and asset management
- 3+ Years Required; 5+ Years Preferred
- 3 years of experience in Public and Media Relations
- 2 Years of experience working in PR Agencies
- Basic working knowledge of PR metrics and measurement platforms like Cision, Factiva and other similar clipping tools
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with public markets investing, direct indexing, tax-managed investing or alternative investments distributed through wealth channels
- University (Degree) Preferred
