Job Summary
Oversee preparation and filing of all internal, external, and regulatory reports, including those to management, the Board, and auditors. Ensure adherence to US GAAP, NCUA rules, BSA, OFAC, and REG E while developing and streamlining financial reporting processes and internal controls. Perform variance analysis, interpret financial data, and support strategic decisions and budgeting from planning through execution. Manage direct reports through coaching, feedback, and clear goals to maintain high performance and engagement. Act as a key liaison for examiners and actively represent the organization in community events to strengthen relationships.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Accounting/Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Five to seven years of progressive experience with financial institutions
- Deep understanding of credit union operations, financial markets, and regulatory framework
- Extensive background in Finance, accounting, risk, or data analytics within financial services
- Familiarity with core processing systems (Symitar, Fiserv, etc.) and financial modeling
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
