Job Summary
AVP, Software Engineer and technical lead within the Developer Experience Platform and PDLC AI Enablement domain. Focus areas include Internal Developer Platform (IDP) delivery of self-service automation, golden paths, reference architectures, and AI-enabled tooling such as production-ready RAG pipelines, multi-agent systems, and AI-assisted development tools. Responsibilities include writing production code, code reviews, pair programming on AI prototypes, architecture design, and driving adoption of Claude Suite and AI capabilities. Lead large-scale Cursor AI integration, build and operate LLM evaluation pipelines and observability dashboards, contribute to Backstage plugin development and self-service portals, participate in Agile ceremonies, translate feedback into scalable platform capabilities, author technical documentation, and collaborate with Architecture, Security, Cloud/DevSecOps, Quality Engineering, and Compliance teams. Maintain secure coding practices, CI/CD automation, and promote DevSecOps and Responsible AI principles. Present architecture and AI capabilities to senior leadership, identify opportunities for automation, and continuously improve developer experience across the enterprise.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years hands-on end-to-end application development across .NET, Angular, React, TypeScript, Python in AWS cloud-hosted microservice environments
- 2–5+ years delivering AI/ML and GenAI solutions in enterprise production environments
- 2+ years experience with Claude Suite (claude.ai, Claude API, Claude Code)
- 2+ years architect-level experience with RAG and GraphRAG pipelines, embedding models, vector stores (e.g., Pinecone, pgvector, Azure AI Search)
- 2+ years experience designing AI agents with multi-agent orchestration, tool use, memory strategies, and agent communication protocols
- Experience contributing to Internal Developer Platforms, paved paths, golden paths, self-service portals
- DevSecOps and InnerSource practices; automated testing, code quality, and CI/CD automation
- Strong communication and stakeholder-influence abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field (preferred)
- AWS certifications (preferred)
- Experience with graph databases (Neo4j, Amazon Neptune) (preferred)
- Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen (preferred)
- Familiarity with Responsible AI and AI governance frameworks (preferred)
- LPL-specific requirements and non-disclosable internal processes
