Job Summary
Lead privacy legal and compliance teams for CVS Health by directing day-to-day operations under the Chief Privacy Officer. Collaborate with CVS Health attorneys and partners to advise on privacy, regulatory compliance, and related business objectives. Mentor and oversee the Privacy Office professionals, drive projects to completion, and provide practical guidance to internal clients on legal issues in healthcare and consumer privacy, including HIPAA and state privacy laws. Requires at least 10+ years of relevant experience, JD, admission to practice in a state bar, and strong knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations; preferred experience includes False Claims Act, Anti-Kickback Statute, and healthcare/pharmacy services contexts. Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of legal experience with a law firm, healthcare company or health system focused on issues related to healthcare and consumer privacy
- Admitted to practice law in at least one state and member in good standing of applicable state bar association(s)
- Bachelor's Degree and Juris Doctorate
- Deep subject matter expertise of privacy laws such as HIPAA and state consumer privacy laws
