Job Summary
Prepare loan analyses for new credit requests by spreading financial statements and completing HSB Loan Approval documents. Compose narrative analyses for credit requests based on transaction complexity and assess customer backgrounds, management capabilities, industry outlooks, and financing histories. Update existing credit relationship analyses to assist with annual loan risk rating reviews and prepare documentation for commercial line renewals, including evaluation of payment performance and covenant compliance. Maintain financial statement and covenant tracking systems within LoanVantage while assisting with regulatory examinations and audits. Provide consultative support to ensure credit facilities are properly documented and participate in required compliance training.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate/Associates degree in Accounting/Finance
- Understanding of personal and business tax returns & financial statements
- Demonstrates attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a deadline-driven environment
- Ability to work independently and in a team atmosphere
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Maintain good working knowledge of the Bank's credit policies and regulatory lending guidelines
- Maintain an excellent understanding of legal documentation requirements
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Banking industry experience preferred
