Job Summary

AVP - Business Support and Transaction Management at SMBC (GIFT City front office). Responsibilities include initiating and processing credit proposals within SMBC Group credit policies, coordinating discussions with internal and external stakeholders to review and clear facility documentation and transactions, ensuring documentation and execution meet SMBC standards, coordinating pre-disbursement conditions and funding arrangements, managing post-sanction activities such as deal pipeline tracking, loan monitoring, rollovers, renewals and covenant compliance, maintaining trackers and governance reporting, supporting KYC coordination and other administrative/operational matters for the GIFT City Front Office, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Requires understanding of loan and trade banking products, facility documentation, RBI/IFSC regulatory requirements, and strong MS Excel/PowerPoint skills; English proficiency is essential; 4-6 years of relevant experience; Bachelor;s degree in Finance/Commerce/Economics/Accounting/Business Administration or related field.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors with background in Commerce, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline
  • Experience of 4-6 years
  • Prior experience in front office execution, credit support, transaction management, or relationship management support roles
  • Strong proficiency in English (written and spoken)
