AVP Branch Manager (Mills)

Job Summary
Direct branch operations and lead the team to achieve branch goals in membership growth, lending, deposits, and service quality. Responsible for planning, directing, organizing and controlling daily operations, balancing cash vaults, processing loans, ensuring compliance with policies and regulatory requirements (including SAFE Act and BSA/AML), and developing plans to optimize staff utilization and member experiences. Partners with leadership to drive community engagement, cross-sell opportunities, reporting, performance appraisals, promotions, hiring, coaching, and staff development to deliver outstanding service and strong financial results.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred; plus 3-5 years financial management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of Credit Union products, services, policies, and procedures, including mortgages, consumer loans and deposit products
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of regulatory compliance necessary to successfully perform job responsibilities. This includes but is not limited to SAFE ACT and BSA/AML
- Must exercise sound judgment and independent discretion in all areas of responsibility outlined above
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, staff, members, and the general public
- Able to effectively coach and motivate employees
- Must be flexible and a strong team player
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment
