Job Summary
Provide day-to-day team leadership and direct work assignments to ensure efficient delivery of complex banking services while maintaining regulatory compliance. Manage the teller side, platform operations, and customer escalations, including branch audits, cash handling, and wire transfers. Coach employees to develop sales skills, meet production goals, and foster a collaborative environment. Assist the Branch Manager with scheduling, staffing levels, and performance management, including interviewing, hiring, and resolving employee concerns. Drive exceptional customer experiences and document all sales recommendations through required referral forms. Perform special projects requiring research, analysis, and reporting to senior management.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 years related experience and/or training
- Strong leadership skills
- Present a professional and positive image
- Clearly communicate messages to colleagues
- Basic proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office Suite, internal CRM
- Utilization and/or familiarity of digital technologies and applications
- Awareness of trends in the local marketplace
- Ability to (discuss, recommend, close) bank products and services based on customer needs
- Highly organized
- Ability to focus on details

- Will be required to register as a mortgage loan originator with the NMLS prior to being allowed to take mortgage loan applications, negotiate or extend terms of a mortgage or other loan secured by a residence
Desired Qualifications
- 1-year related management experience
- Prior banking experience
- Life and Health Licenses to support investment program
