Job Summary
AVP, Consumer Bank Analytics role leading the India Analytics Hub team to deliver strategic insights and analytics capabilities that drive deposits growth and optimize marketing investments. Partners with US analytics teams to provide actionable insights on customer behavior, targeting and segmentation, channel strategy, portfolio diagnostics, and regulatory reporting. Leads a team of 5 analytics professionals in India, oversees project delivery from ideation through presentation of results, and fosters cross-functional collaboration with Synchrony business and client teams.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or any other quantitative streams with 6+ years of relevant analytics experience and in lieu of a degree 8+ years of relevant analytics experience
- Hands-on SQL and SAS programming experience
- Tableau and data visualization skills
- Experience with diverse data sources (Oracle DB, EDL, etc.)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management
- Mentoring/leadership experience (2+ years)
- Ability to work in a matrix organization and coordinate multiple initiatives
- Experience delivering BAU and strategic analytics projects
- Knowledge of regression, decision trees, segmentation, and other statistical methods
