Job Summary
Avocado Sales Manager responsible for leading import sales efforts focused on retail channels for a major fresh produce importer. The role will spearhead sales initiatives to expand avocado (and deciduous offerings) business, cultivate established retailer relationships and blue chip wholesalers, and leverage knowledge of international fruit regions, shelf life, and packing/handling to optimize the import supply chain. Requires a college degree (B.A./B.S. preferred) and 7+ years of avocado sales experience; candidates should demonstrate strong retailer relationships, understanding of quality characteristics, and experience in cross-functional coordination to drive growth in North America. Based in Florida or New Jersey with base salary in the $140k–$180k range; total compensation includes a broader package.
