Job Summary
Avionics Wire Technician II assists with installation, troubleshooting and repair of aircraft avionics systems across various aircraft models in a safe, clean environment per manufacturer specifications, company procedures, and FAA/ OEM manuals; maintains work orders, records OJT and training, and adheres to FAA regulations; requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work OT as needed; must possess basic tooling and be able to communicate in English; FCC license preferred and ability to attain AOA badge or airport requirements; high attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Required Qualifications
- Two years related avionics installation experience required
- High school graduate or equivalency degree required
- Knowledge and understanding of FARs 43, 91, 135, 145
