Avionics Technician (SUS)

Job Summary
Avionics Technician responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, modifying and calibrating aircraft electronic systems and components; certifies integrated avionics systems, installs and wires electrical components (sensors, radio communications, antennas, lights), performs functional checks, and maintains documentation. Requires a High School diploma or equivalent, with 4 years of related avionics experience. A&P license is not required but preferred; advanced avionics certification is a plus. Must be flexible to work 3rd shift and weekends, able to stand, lift up to 50 pounds, and pass a background check with airport badge. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills are expected. Work location: Chesterfield, MO; in-house maintenance facility for private aircraft; on-site duties with up to physical demands and exposure to typical shop environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 4 years of related corporate avionics experience
- A&P License not required but preferred
- Advanced certification in avionics preferred
- Must be able to pass background check and achieve airport badge
- Must be willing to work 3rd shift and weekends
- Valid Drivers License
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
