Job Summary

Conduct advanced avionics installation, testing, troubleshooting, and repair while ensuring aircraft meet safety, quality, and performance standards. Review FAA paperwork for compliance updates, oversee uncertified mechanics, and lead maintenance, preventative maintenance, or alterations for rated aircraft. Facilitate on-the-job training through mentoring and perform routine reports and wire fabrication per drawings. Diagnose problems, replace parts, and make adjustments as required. Maintain Avionics hand tools and work as an active crew member with intermediate aircraft knowledge. Requires 5+ years avionics experience, A or A&P license, and ability to travel and work outside core hours. Greenpoint Technologies delivers VIP jet interiors for private clients and Heads-of-State.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years' avionics experience
  • Proficient with the Standard Wiring Practices Manual
  • Airframe (A) or Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License
  • B1, B1.1, and/or B2 certification
  • Qualify as a US Person (US Citizen, Permanent Resident who does not work for a foreign company/agency, or political asylee)
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Mathematical knowledge and the ability to apply towards problem solving
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office suite
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally as part of an established and growing team
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel as required
  • Ability to work outside of core business hours as required
  • Able to comply with DOT/FAA Drug and Alcohol Testing Program
  • Able to climb and work on step stools and/or ladders
  • Able to lift 25 lbs. without assistance/able to lift up to 100 lbs. with assistance
  • Able to reach overhead
  • Able to work in a non-dust-free environment
  • Normal or corrected vision
  • Full range of motion with both hands
  • Able to work in a stooping, kneeling or standing position and in cramped areas

Desired Qualifications

  • Airframe (A) or Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License is a plus
  • B1, B1.1, and/or B2 certification is a plus
