Job Summary
Avionics Technician/Installer II needed to perform maintenance, preventative maintenance, upgrades and alterations on corporate/ military aircraft; must follow Repair Station Manual and OEM specs, be certified per FAR Part 145.151, read wiring diagrams and electrical schematics, and demonstrate proficiency in testing/diagnostics (IFR4000, IFR6000, DPS500, Laversab 6300, etc.). Requires 5-12 years of relevant avionics experience, an Airframe license, and a high school diploma or equivalent; role based in Van Nuys, CA (KVNY) with Mon-Fri 7am-4pm shift and potential travel; responsibilities include maintaining safety/quality standards, tool/space upkeep, and teamwork in a customer-centric aviation environment.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Airframe license required
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- 5-1/2 to 12 years of Military or Corporate Aircraft Avionics experience Pt 91/135 experience preferred
