Avionics Technician I

Job Summary
Perform repairs, maintenance, or modifications on aircraft avionics systems and components, including wiring harness fabrication and installation per engineering specifications, FARs, and RSQM. Read blueprints and diagrams, install wire with supervision, conduct scheduled and unscheduled inspections, and ensure proper documentation, tagging, and sign-offs. Maintain high safety and housekeeping standards, adhere to applicable regulations and service bulletins, and coordinate with Lead Technician to communicate progress and resolve road-blocks. Requires basic FAA regulations knowledge, use of hand tools, ability to read IPC/M/M/OHM/SRM data, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Required Qualifications
- Less than 3 years’ aircraft avionics maintenance experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in oral and written English
- Must report for assignment with personal set of standard trade-specific tools
- FAA Knowledge of Regulations
