Job Summary
Install, inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify aircraft avionics and electrical systems for the Airbus H125 program in Englewood, Colorado. Work in accordance with approved drawings, technical data, and maintenance manuals while reading wiring diagrams and schematics. Install and terminate wiring, connectors, and components, then accurately document completed work and maintain required maintenance records. Coordinate with supervisors, inspectors, engineers, and other technicians to complete assigned tasks. Perform duties following all company, FAA, safety, and quality-control requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Previous professional aircraft avionics experience
- Must be available to work the full 7-day rotation in Englewood, Colorado
- Must successfully complete all required employment screening, including an FAA/DOT-compliant drug screening for a safety-sensitive position
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- High School Diploma or GED
- Five (5) years' experience in an avionics/electrical career field; or two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and Three (3) years related experience
- Ability to read and interpret aircraft wiring diagrams and technical drawings
- Ability to use standard avionics tools and electrical test equipment
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work in and around aircraft for extended periods
- Ability to safely use hand tools and avionics test equipment
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
Desired Qualifications
- Rotorcraft avionics experience
- Airbus H125 experience
- Associate degree in Aviation Electronics or related field
- A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license
- FCC License
- NCATT
- Proficiency with a variety of tools and test equipment
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately
