Job Summary
Install Garmin G5000 avionics systems, Gogo Wifi, Smartsky Wifi, and Starlink Wifi in various aircraft types according to manufacturer specifications and flyExclusive standards. Perform pre- and post-installation testing to verify component functionality and ensure systems meet regulatory and safety requirements. Troubleshoot installation issues, collaborate with engineers on system integration, and conduct equipment tests under simulated or actual operating conditions. Complete detailed documentation, maintain facility cleanliness, and safeguard company assets while adhering to FAA regulations and company policies. Line duties and road trips are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18 years or older
- Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
- Extensive knowledge of aircraft mechanical systems and interactions
- Thorough knowledge of current FAA regulations, IPM, and ATA codes
- Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States without sponsorship
- Must successfully complete a comprehensive background check prior to employment
- Must be classified as a Safety-Sensitive role under Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations
- Must be subject to pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with FAA guidelines
- Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant License preferred
- 4-7 years of experience performing hands-on Aircraft Maintenance
- Prior experience with Corridor
- Candidates with Business Corporate Jet experience will be given priority
