Avionics System Engineer

Job Summary

Required Qualifications

• •Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Control Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Telecommunications Engineering
• •From < 1 up to 3+ years of experience in Systems Engineering or safety-critical avionics systems
• •Knowledge of Systems Engineering principles and Product Life Cycle processes
• •Knowledge of MATLAB & Simulink, including applications to Control Theory and/or Kalman Filters
• •Basic programming skills in C and/or Python
• •Knowledge of avionics communication buses and interfaces (e.g., ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553)
• •Knowledge of system design principles and engineering methodologies
• •Knowledge of system verification and validation principles, activities, and supporting tools
• •Knowledge of the safety-critical development life cycle and aerospace standards such as SAE ARP4754, RTCA DO-178, and RTCA DO-254
• •Italian (Fluent)
• •English (fluent, oral and written)
