Job Summary
Troubleshoot, repair, modify, and calibrate aircraft electronic systems and components using specialized precision measuring equipment. Certify integrated avionic systems at intermediate levels, install and wire electrical components such as sensors and antennas, and perform continuity checks on complete aircraft systems. Operate test equipment to evaluate performance and reliability while processing inspection forms and notifying authorities of any suspected unairworthy conditions. Maintain a clean work area and adhere to safety standards while working in an environment with potential exposure to fumes, vibration, and loud noise. This role requires 4 years of corporate avionics experience, advanced certification preference, and flexibility with shift work at Flexjet's in-house maintenance facility in Sanford, Florida.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 4 years of related corporate avionics experience
- Must be highly proficient in both troubleshooting/service and installation sides of the role
- Must be flexible with shift work
- Must be able to stand, sit, and bend for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
- Valid Drivers License
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to pass background check and achieve airport badge
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced certification in avionics preferred
