Job Summary
Install aircraft options, fabricate wiring harnesses, and terminate avionics components using crimp and solder techniques per engineering drawings. Perform continuity, power, and ground checks, including pitot/static system modifications and post-installation operational tests. Inspect incoming aircraft and parts, record work progress in job cards, and adhere to FAA, FOCA, and company safety regulations. Clean and detail aircraft, maintain a safe work area, and assist with aircraft movement. Requires 2–4 years of avionics installation experience, ability to lift 40 lbs, and proficiency with hand tools and test equipment. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 2 – 4 years of avionics installation experience in PC-12 and PC-24 or similar aircraft
- Must meet the criteria of a U.S. person as defined under ITAR 22 CFR 120.62
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 lbs.
- Must be able to climb ladders and stairs and work in restricted spaces
- Ability to use hand tools and specialized test equipment
- Proficiency in general computer use and MS Office software, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Must be available for Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm shifts
- Must be available for Monday - Friday, 3:30pm - 12:30am shifts
- Regular attendance
- Willingness to work overtime as required
Desired Qualifications
- Avionics accreditation or technical training
- FAA A&P license
- Meet requirements of FAR 65.101 to obtain a FAA repairman certificate
