Job Summary
Avionics Hardware Engineer to design, implement, and validate advanced avionics architectures for autonomous space platforms. Responsibilities include PCB design, layout, simulation and validation for high-speed/mixed-signal designs; hardware debugging and system-level testing using lab instruments; building and maintaining electrical harnesses for flight and development hardware; collaborating with mechanical, systems, and software teams to ensure seamless integration; and supporting environmental qualification (EMC, vibration, thermal vacuum). Preferred experience includes carrier-board design for Linux-based SoCs, NVIDIA SoCs familiarity, FPGA design and integration, and space-rated electronics with fault-tolerant, radiation-aware design practices. The role requires a degree in electrical engineering (or equivalent) and hands-on experience across the full hardware lifecycle, from concept to on-orbit readiness. Compensation bands are provided by level, location, and market data, with potential long-term incentives and comprehensive benefits. Required Qualifications
- BEng/MEng in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Proven PCB design, layout and hardware bring-up/testing
- High-speed interface design and signal integrity analysis
- Hardware debugging, fault isolation, and performance characterization
- Familiar with lab test equipment including oscilloscopes, DAQs, logic analyzers, and power supplies
- Hands-on electrical assembly, soldering, crimping, and harness fabrication
