Job Summary
Avionics & Communications Systems program lead within the Lunar Permanence team, responsible for delivering robust product delivery plans and tracking key operating metrics (technical, cost, schedule, risk). Lead the agile week-to-week planning, potentially serve as Scrum Master, and ensure alignment between program-level plans and day-to-day execution. Interface with NASA and National Team Partners, own technical success with Responsible Engineers and Team Leads, help run contracts and statements of work, and provide regular status updates to senior leadership to enable the Lunar Permanence system supporting long-term human presence on the Moon.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering or another technical field
- 5+ years of project management experience related to software development
- Experience with Project Management Tools such as MS Project, P6 Primavera or similar
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Familiar with agile project management
- Experience with Jira
- Experience automating schedule health evaluations and continuously improving schedules
- Experience with verification, integration, and test, of orbital launch vehicles or human rated spacecraft
Additional Requirements
- U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
- Background checks and regulatory/compliance requirements as specified by the company
- Possession and maintenance of required credentials for roles including safety, security, and qualification processes
