Aviation Project Engineer

Job Summary
Lead design and delivery of civil engineering projects at airports, including runways, taxiways, aprons, grading, drainage, and access roadways. Serve as Engineer of Record on aviation infrastructure projects, overseeing construction drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports. Coordinate project scope, schedule, budget, and resources with internal and external stakeholders while ensuring compliance with FAA Advisory Circulars, State DOT Aviation guidelines, and local regulations. Conduct site visits and provide construction administration support. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, PE license, and 7+ years of experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional engineer license (PE)
- Minimum 7 years of civil engineering experience
- Knowledge of FAA and State DOT Aviation standards and processes
- Familiarity with FAA AIP funding
- Experience with software including AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Ability to lead project design start to finish, considering time, cost and resources
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and workplace safety regulations
