Job Summary
Supervise repairs of airline seats and monuments by reading job orders, observing operations to determine malfunctions, and planning procedures using hand tools, power tools, and knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems. Oversee installation of new seat systems with welding equipment and hoists, while examining protective guards, loose bolts, and safety devices to make adjustments. Fabricate special attachments, hydraulic systems, shields, or other devices according to blueprints. Assess structural defects and damage, and perform related duties as necessary. Requires high school graduation, mechanical repair experience in aircraft interiors, and supervisory experience. Must be willing to travel domestically and internationally for Regent business, work overtime for deadlines, and meet physical demands including walking 50% of the day and handling up to 20 pounds occasionally.
