Job Summary

Conduct discrete planning tasks and major master plan assignments across the United States, including terminal and site plans, ALP development, and environmental assessments. Assist aviation planning staff on technical assignments while working under direct supervision within the Aviation Planning Service Group. Utilize Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and GIS software to complete documentation and exhibits for airport clients. Apply FAA guidelines and requirements to address airport planning issues and solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Masters of Planning, Management, Business, Engineering, Architecture or other professionally recognized equivalent disciplines from an accredited university
  • 3-5 years of related experience
  • Strong verbal, writing, and presentation communication skills
  • Ability to interact with employees, other consultants, clients and others with respect and professionalism
  • Ability to work in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), AutoCAD, and GIS software
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, team environment responsive to deadlines
  • Demonstrated understanding of airport planning issues/solutions and ability to undertake technical assignments

Desired Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of an airport/airfield environment
  • Graphic layout capability (Photoshop, Illustrator, AutoCAD and/or GIS)
  • Proven knowledge and application of aviation skills including understanding of FAA guidelines and requirements for airport planning and geometry
