Job Summary
Aviation Planner role based in Alpharetta, GA, focusing on developing and managing airport projects. Responsibilities include leading analysis and reports for airport planning, programming, and implementation; developing Airport Master Plans and Airport Layout Plans; supporting business development, marketing, and client relationship management; mentoring staff and contributing to growth of the Aviation practice. Requires 4+ years in aviation planning, a Bachelor019s degree, and certifications (PE/CM/AICP) or plan to obtain them; familiarity with FAA Circulars/Orders and AutoCAD; strong communication and leadership abilities; plus experience in proposal writing, scopes of work, and budgets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor019s Degree with 4 or more years of experience in Aviation Planning
- PE, CM, or AICP Certification (or plan to get them)
- Working knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Advisory Circulars and Orders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage and mentor staff and effectively direct resources in a positive manner
- Marketing experience including writing proposals, scopes of work, and budgets for projected work a plus
- Experience with AutoCAD preferred
