Job Summary
Moody Aviation is seeking an Aviation Maintenance Training Instructor responsible for providing effective classroom, lab, and shop instruction, and assisting with curriculum development. This role includes mentoring students in aviation technology and facilitating their professional development as missionary aviators. Essential functions involve preparing course materials, conducting practical lab instruction, maintaining curriculum currency with regulations, and supervising technical lab activities. Strong communication, instructional skills, and A&P Certification are required, along with a Bachelor's degree. Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree and substantial aviation maintenance experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- A&P Certification
- Strong communication, public speaking, and interpersonal skills
- Strong instructional skills and teaching experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
- Authorized to work in the US legally without sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s degree
- Ten years of aviation maintenance experience and/or mission aviation field experience
- Inspection Authorization
- FAA approved Flight Instructor (CFI) Airplane Single Engine Land (ASEL)
- Ability to publicly represent Moody Aviation
