Job Summary
Aviation Maintenance Technician Apprentice program providing hands-on experience and structured learning in aircraft maintenance. Participants work alongside licensed AMTs to perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs, complete structured OJT tasks (aircraft washing, tool control, logbook entries, maintenance planning), maintain a clean and safe work environment, document training progress, and participate in quarterly reviews. Trainees will follow Bristow safety protocols, SMS principles, and FAA regulations, and prepare to pass the FAA A&P certification exam within 6 months. The program includes tuition/FAA exam fees, tools, housing/relocation support for eligible candidates, and mentorship from experienced AMTs. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Enrollment or completion of FAA Part 147 coursework preferred
- Ability to relocate and travel as needed
- Must be able to meet physical demands of aircraft maintenance work
- Strong interest in aviation maintenance and mechanical systems
- Willingness to relocate and travel as needed
- Team-based work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions
