Job Summary

Perform inspections, repairs, and alterations on Company operated aircraft and support equipment in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and maintenance manuals. Verify part numbers and serial numbers during component installation or removal, utilizing the Ramco EAP system to account for time on task. Actively participate in the Safety Management System (SMS) and LEAN process improvements while mentoring less experienced Mechanics. Maintain a clean work area and identify necessary parts and tools for non-routine discrepancy findings. Requires 5 to 7 years of aircraft maintenance experience, an FAA A&P license preferred, and ability to work a flexible schedule including 24/7 on-call rotation.

Required Qualifications

  • Specialization in Aircraft Systems
  • Rotor background
  • 7+ years of heavy aircraft maintenance experience
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 5 to 7 years' related aircraft maintenance experience
  • Regular scheduled attendance
  • 10% travel time
  • FAA A&P License in good standing
  • Inspection Authorization (IA)
  • Electrical troubleshooting
  • Refined vibration-balancing
  • Ability to read and understand various documents such as 337's, Service Bulletins, AD's, etc.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, constantly changing environment
  • Ability to be a team player with a professional attitude
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotation
  • Efficient in the use of electronic or paper based manuals and able to navigate through vendor data to find necessary information
  • Ability to learn and utilize the Company's ERP system (Ramco)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to apply creativity and problem solving skills in troubleshooting work
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • RAMCO experience

Desired Qualifications

  • AS350 or EC130 experience
  • Factory airframe/power plant schools
  • FAR 145 operations
  • FAA A&P License in good standing preferred
  • Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred
