Aviation Maintenance Technician 135

Job Summary
Perform inspections, repairs, and alterations on AS350 aircraft in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company manuals. Verify part numbers and serial numbers during component installation or removal, and ensure all maintenance documentation meets regulatory standards. Actively participate in the Safety Management System (SMS) continuous improvement phase and advise the Pilot in Command of any issues requiring aircraft groundings. Maintain a clean work area, request aviation parts to ensure operational readiness, and validate data in the Status Report. Provide timely on-call availability during nights, weekends, and holidays, with 25–50% travel time for Part 135 operations. Must reside within one hour of Driggs, Idaho, and hold an FAA A&P license.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 2 to 5 years' related experience and/or training
- FAA A&P License in good standing
- Must live within an hour of the base
- Provide timely on call availability during nights, weekends, and holidays if necessary
- Regular scheduled attendance
- Subject to applicable laws and Air Method's policies, regular attendance is an essential function of the position
- Subject to applicable laws and Air Method's policies, All employees must follow Air Methods' employment practices and policies
- Subject to applicable laws and Air Method's policies, periodic travel in support of Part 135 operations and company objectives will be expected
- Indicate the percentage of time spent traveling: 25 – 50%
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, constantly changing environment
- Ability to be a team player with a professional attitude
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotation
- Ability to learn and utilize the Company's ERP system (Ramco)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to apply creativity and problem solving skills in troubleshooting work
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Ability to read and understand various documents such as 337's, Service Bulletins, AD's, etc.

- Efficient in the use of electronic or paper based manuals and able to navigate through vendor data to find necessary information
- Ability to learn and utilize the Company's ERP system (Ramco)

- Ability to apply creativity and problem solving skills in troubleshooting work
- Subject to drug and/or alcohol testing per the DOT/FAA requirements (pre-employment, random, reasonable cause/suspicion, post-accident)

- Rotor experience
- Factory airframe/power plant schools preferred
- FAR 135 operations preferred
- RAMCO experience preferred
