Job Summary
Perform inspections, repairs, and alterations on Bell 407 aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company maintenance manuals. Verify part numbers and serial numbers during component installation or removal, and ensure all documentation complies with applicable policies and service bulletins. Actively participate in the Safety Management System continuous improvement phase and advise the Pilot in Command of any maintenance issues affecting airworthiness. Maintain a clean work area, request aviation parts to ensure operational readiness, and validate data in the Status Report. Provide timely on-call availability during nights, weekends, and holidays, with 25–50% travel time for Part 135 operations. Must live within an hour of the facility.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 2 to 5 years' related experience and/or training
- Factory airframe/power plant schools preferred
- Active/current A&P
- FAR 135 operations
- Electrical troubleshooting
- Refined vibration-balancing
- Sheet metal and composite repair procedures
- Ability to read and understand various documents such as 337's, Service Bulletins, AD's, etc.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, constantly changing environment
- Ability to be a team player with a professional attitude
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotation
- Efficient in the use of electronic or paper based manuals and able to navigate through vendor data to find necessary information
- Ability to learn and utilize the Company's ERP system (Ramco)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to apply creativity and problem solving skills in troubleshooting work
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- RAMCO experience
- FAA A&P License in good standing
- Provide timely on call availability during nights, weekends, and holidays if necessary
- Regular scheduled attendance
- Indicate the percentage of time spent traveling: 25 – 50%
- Periodic travel in support of Part 135 operations and company objectives
- Must live within an hour of the maintenance facility

- Validating or confirming the data in the Status Report
- Request aviation parts and supplies
- Maintain an adequate and orderly inventory of all stock items
- Ensure prompt repairs for operational readiness
- Other Duties as assigned
