Job Summary
Perform inspections, repairs, and alterations on Bell 407 aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations, airworthiness directives, and service bulletins. Verify part numbers and serial numbers upon component installation or removal, and ensure all maintenance documentation complies with company policies and manuals. Actively participate in the Safety Management System continuous improvement phase and advise the Pilot in Command of maintenance issues affecting operational readiness. Request aviation parts to maintain inventory for prompt repairs and maintain a clean, professional work area. Provide timely on-call availability during nights, weekends, and holidays with 25–50% travel time.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 2 to 5 years' related experience and/or training
- active/current A&P
- FAA A&P License in good standing
- FAR 135 operations
- Factory airframe/power plant schools
- Ability to read and understand various documents such as 337's, Service Bulletins, AD's, etc.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, constantly changing environment
- Ability to be a team player with a professional attitude
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotation
- Efficient in the use of electronic or paper based manuals and able to navigate through vendor data to find necessary information
- Ability to learn and utilize the Company's ERP system (Ramco)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to apply creativity and problem solving skills in troubleshooting work
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- RAMCO experience
- Provide timely on call availability during nights, weekends, and holidays if necessary
- Regular scheduled attendance
- Indicate the percentage of time spent traveling: 25 – 50%
- Periodic travel in support of Part 135 operations and company objectives
- Must live within an hour of the base

- Electrical troubleshooting and refined vibration-balancing
- Sheet metal and composite repair procedures
- Ability to learn and utilize the Company's ERP system (Ramco)
