Job Summary

Perform inspections, repairs, and alterations on Bell 407 aircraft in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and company manuals. Verify part numbers and serial numbers during component installation or removal, and ensure all maintenance documentation meets applicable standards. Actively participate in the Safety Management System continuous improvement phase and advise the Pilot in Command of any maintenance issues affecting airworthiness. Maintain a clean work area, request aviation parts to ensure operational readiness, and correct compliance or safety issues when directed by leadership. Provide timely on-call availability during nights, weekends, and holidays while traveling 25–50% of the time. Must live within an hour of the base and hold an active FAA A&P license.

Required Qualifications

  • Rotor experience
  • Factory airframe/power plant schools
  • Active/current A&P
  • FAR 135 operations
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 2 to 5 years' related experience and/or training
  • FAA A&P License in good standing
  • Must live within an hour of the base
  • Provide timely on call availability during nights, weekends, and holidays if necessary
  • Regular scheduled attendance
  • 25 – 50% travel
  • Periodic travel in support of Part 135 operations
  • Ability to read and understand various documents such as 337's, Service Bulletins, AD's, etc.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, constantly changing environment
  • Ability to be a team player with a professional attitude
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotation
  • Ability to learn and utilize the Company's ERP system (Ramco)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to apply creativity and problem solving skills in troubleshooting work
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • RAMCO experience
  • Subject to applicable laws and Air Method's policies, regular attendance is an essential function of the position
  • Subject to drug and/or alcohol testing per the DOT/FAA requirements (pre-employment, random, reasonable cause/suspicion, post-accident)

  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • RAMCO experience preferred
