Job Summary
Interpret engineering drawings, inspection manuals, and specifications while utilizing precision measuring instruments and specialized equipment. Perform inspections to accept or reject parts, processes, and assemblies, ensuring compliance with Quality Management System policies. Verify tool calibration, maintain quality records, and write Non-Conformance Reports. Support multiple inspection areas and job codes as needed while maintaining required certifications. Requires 5+ years of aerospace airframe assembly inspection experience, blueprint reading skills, SAP system proficiency, and ability to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift with overtime availability.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of aerospace airframe assembly inspection experience
- Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills
- Experience with MS Office and SAP systems
- Proven experience writing NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Solid understanding of production and inspection processes
- Dependable with strong attendance and punctuality
- Must be able to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift
- Availability for overtime as needed
- Ability to obtain and maintain required certifications
