Job Summary
Conduct training on electrical installations, repairs, and modifications for commercial and military aircraft Airframe and Flight Control systems using classroom, computer-based, simulation, and on-the-job methods. Assess and test employee competence against government and organizational standards while delivering sessions on specified technical specialties. Maintain training programs and materials, prepare teaching areas, and evaluate trainee progress. Confers with management to understand work situations and reports on overall trainee advancement. Travels 10-15% of the time to support this full-time position at GP Strategies Government Solutions, a global leader in public sector talent transformation.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in aircraft electrical systems installation, repair, maintenance, and modification
- Experience conducting training in a classroom environment
- Proven knowledge and proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint and the ability to learn in-house systems
- Travels for work 10-15% of the time
- Assignment Location – Ridley Park, PA
- Sedentary Work – Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body
- Fingering (typing), communicating, repetitive motions
- Close visual acuity to prepare and analyze data, view computer monitors and read. May need to view presentation screens and other visual aids in a virtual setting
- Inside environmental conditions with protection from outside elements
