Job Summary
Verify each scheduled flight for FAA Part 135 and 91 compliance and issue releases to flight crews. Maintain situation awareness of all flights while on shift and arrange trip logistics and service items to support clients and crews. Review and verify flight logs submitted by crews and evaluate next day's flights for compliance issues such as crew legality or maintenance discrepancies. Confirm flight and duty time limitations to ensure adherence to Federal Aviation Regulations and Solairus Flight Operations Manuals. Facilitate effective shift handoffs to address all task and follow-up items. Work 24/7 in the Dispatch department, which serves as the central communication point for flight operations.
Required Qualifications
- At least two years of corporate aviation scheduling experience
- Excellent Interpersonal and Customer Service Skills
- Ability to work with the Solairus flight planning and scheduling software
- Ability to interact effectively as a team member with other Dispatchers and Flight Coordinators
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in all cases regarding client information and travel schedule
- Knowledge of aircraft scheduling principles and aircraft trip planning resources including knowledge of FAA regulations, airport information, resources available for trip planning, aircraft and trip support, and weather monitoring
- Ability to quickly learn and assimilate Solairus flight operations standards and policy
- Skill in organizing and performing detail-oriented and timely duties and functions
