Job Summary
Lead the Houston aviation practice by establishing RS&H as the premier engineering firm across Southeast Texas and driving business development from the Gulf Coast to Central Texas. Manage client relationships with airport authorities and airlines while recruiting, mentoring, and leading design teams for projects spanning airfield design, terminal infrastructure, and utilities. Oversee project execution from concept through construction, handling contracts, quality, and budget to ensure client satisfaction. Define the strategic direction for the local practice alongside senior leadership and leverage national resources for multidisciplinary collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from ABET-accredited program
- 12+ years of aviation or infrastructure engineering experience
- Texas PE license (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Proven success leading design teams and managing client relationships
- Strong business development track record
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel across Southeast Texas (typically day trips)
