Job Summary
Plan, direct, and monitor multi-discipline airport engineering projects involving runways, taxiways, navigational aids, and pavement rehabilitation. Lead General Aviation and Commercial Air Service design teams, coordinate with FAA and local permit agencies, and manage project costs, schedules, and quality. Prepare engineering design reports, feasibility studies, and contract documents while implementing QA/QC reviews. Mentor staff, build client relationships, and contribute to marketing efforts to win new work. Available to travel within Southern California, Nevada, and the region.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education with an emphasis on design
- Bachelors of Science - Civil Engineering plus 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Experience in preparation of Project Reports, Feasibility Studies, and PS&Es for Aviation projects
- A proven track record of marketing/selling services to Aviation clients
- Professional Engineer License in CA
- Minimum of 8 years experience including 8 years of project management in the aviation market sector
- Available to travel to clients and projects in Southern California Nevada and other states within the region
- all newly hired employees are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment
