Job Summary
Lead and contribute to the design and delivery of aviation and transportation-related projects from concept through construction. Collaborate with airport clients, planners, engineers, and environmental specialists to develop integrated architectural solutions and prepare technical documentation. Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and team coordination while conducting quality reviews and field observations. Mentor junior architects and technical staff to foster a collaborative team environment. Ensure projects meet client expectations, quality standards, and budget goals. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative, future-focused airport environments.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of relevant architectural design experience
- Registered Architect in good standing
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary design teams
- Strong architectural design and construction document development capabilities
- Demonstrated Revit BIM production and coordination experience
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed to support client engagements, project activities, site visits, industry events, and professional development opportunities
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited university
- Previous project management experience
- NCARB certification
- Aviation, transportation, or large-scale commercial project experience
- LEED Accredited Professional designation
- Visualization and graphic capabilities including Photoshop or similar tools
- Design-build project experience
