Job Summary
Assemble limited fuel controls, governors, and all fuel, oil, or air accessories. Test accessories on provided benches, utilize hand and specialty tools for precision measurements, and read technical data and drawings. Generate data plates using a laser system and troubleshoot failing components to determine root causes. Document all repair work orders and collaborate with quality assurance and engineering teams to resolve technical issues. Maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment while adhering to FAA standards and manufacturer instructions.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of relevant/technical work experience
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments, hand tools, and test equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions
- High Mechanical aptitude
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, QAPs, and engineering drawings
- Basic computer operating skills
- Flexible to changing workloads/priorities based on customer requirements
- Must be able to read, write, and understand English
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and quality
- Subject to a background check
- Subject to drug testing
Desired Qualifications
- 4+ years of technical work experience in aviation maintenance, MRO, or accessory repair
