AVEVA P&ID Drafter

Job Summary
Draft process-related drawings including PFD, P&ID/AVEVA P&ID or AVEVA Diagram, and UFD using AVEVA software or AUTOCAD; review project specifications to ensure drawings align with client expectations (correct legends, titleblocks, line and tag numbering); generate/update process line/list/equipment databases and intelligent P&ID content; ensure accurate implementation of process data and specifications in AVEVA; support process engineers in linking PFD, P&IDs, HMB and datasheets; collaborate with mechanical, piping, instrumentation and electrical disciplines to accurately represent data; assist in general arrangement drafting; perform quality checks on P&IDs, attributes, tags and references before delivery; adhere to timelines and HSE policies; maintain AVEVA data structures, libraries, specifications and tagging rules; support AVEVA setup, configuration, and troubleshooting; adapt to other duties as required by the line manager.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical/ Chemical /Production Engineering (or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years in Process/ Mechanical Design/Drafting role
- Proven experience with AVEVA software for projects with P&ID knowledge
- Strong proficiency in AVEVA Software suite
- Good understanding of process engineering documentation and workflows
- Ability to read and interpret process documents: PFD, P&ID, HMB, datasheet
