Job Summary
Provide and coordinate skilled nursing care for home healthcare patients per the care plan and physician orders. Responsibilities include ongoing patient assessment, documenting actions and outcomes, updating the care plan, ensuring infection control per OSHA standards, educating patients and families, and complying with Nurse Practice Act and organizational policies. Requires strong attention to detail, clinical documentation, time management, and effective communication; ability to travel to patient homes and lift up to 50 pounds; CPR certification and nursing licensure are required. Flexible scheduling available (full-time or part-time) with days, nights, and weekend shifts; compensation includes benefits and potential for weekly/daily pay.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of practice
- Current CPR certification
- TB skin test current within last 12 months
- Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing
- Six months hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
