Job Summary
Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a Private Duty Registered Nurse (RN) to provide in-home skilled nursing care across North Austin, Round Rock, Georgetown, Pflugerville and surrounding areas. Flexible scheduling includes full-time, part-time, or PRN with days, nights, and weekend shifts. Responsibilities include delivering and coordinating care according to the plan and physician orders, documenting activities, developing and updating the nursing care plan, reporting changes, ensuring infection control, and educating patients and families. Must hold an active RN license, CPR certification, and TB test; willingness to travel to patient homes; strong clinical documentation and communication skills; compliance with policies and state/federal regulations. Required Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the practicing state
- Current CPR certification
- TB skin test (within last 12 months)
- Six months hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
- Reliable transportation
